Movement Training is an integrative approach to physical-training that challenges the body in ways often neglected by typical strength and conditioning classes.
Movement Training is designed to build a broad base of sustainable pathways of moving through space with power and flow while challenging balance, flexibility, strength, and coordination. With this balanced approach to physical training, you can expect a greater sense of body awareness, creative impulse, and empowerment that can enrich your practice and daily life.
Alex’s style of movement training draws inspiration from movement practices such as acrobatics, modern floorwork, yoga, martial arts, gymnastics, and capoeira. Sessions often include mobility and flexibility work, floorwork, acrobatic drills, locomotion, hand balancing/inversions, bodyweight strength, and body responsiveness drills. Training sessions can vary on experience and what you are personally interested in.
PRICE: $60 per individual session // $225 for 4 sessions // $50 per individual for a 2-4 person group training session

Mobility Training
Mobility defines your movement capacity - your mobility determines your ability to perform based on your current range of motion. We will take a systematic approach to your training that teaches you to expand these ranges sustainably - replacing haphazard mobility gains and losses with long-term change.
Mobility training seeks to improve the pliability and adaptability of the muscle and connective tissue by implementing methods of joint articulations, isometrics, end-range strength training, dynamic flossing, and passive stretching.
This style of mobility training is inspired by my +10-year experience working with folks as a yoga instructor and FRC (Functional Range Conditioning) specialist.
